Floor Covering Salesperson

We are a busy Floor Covering Company looking for a Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service. We carry a large variety of Carpet, Hardwood Flooring, Vinyl Plank and Tile & Stone.

Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present our products and answer questions about our products.

Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure Display Racks are fully stocked
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers

Skills

• Work experience in the Floor Covering Industry preferred, but not mandatory, will train the right applicant
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Experience with Home Remodeling and Construction, but is not mandatory
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• High school degree

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
